AITHÉR
The shape of Aithér is based on moods and immediate feelings. The intertwining textures and traces carry the scent of a gentle breeze, a flowing fragrance, a stormy sea, powdery sand or sociable voices at a dinner party. An artistic aroma lamp was created from these dreamy imaginings that carry a diverse state of mind.
"Sometimes the aroma lamp is delicate and fragile in its texture, sometimes it is stormy and raw. A new mould has to be made for each piece because it always falls apart when blown. My hands almost burned while patterning."

To catch the feelings in my hands, weave them into a heaven that'll warm your eyes.
Technique: Hand-blown glass into plaster mould, brass. Every single piece is blown by hand in the glassworks in Nový Bor, Czech Republic. All brass components have been shaped by hand in Prague.
